The Nolumbeka Project presents the 6th Annual Pocumtuck Homelands Festival, a Celebration of Native American Art, Music, and Cultures.

The Kingfisher Singers, Hawk Henries, Joseph and Jesse Bruchac, Lee "Mixashawn" Rozie, Kerri Helme with children's activities, Black Hawk Singers, Visioning B.E.A.R Circle Intertribal Coalition, Justin Beatty, emcee, and MORE. Special presentations by Evan Pritchard, Chief Don Stevens and David Brule. Schedule to be announced. Witness the carving of a dugout canoe from a green white pine log with traditional methods of fire carving and scraping by a team from the Aquinnah Wampanoag, a continual process that will take the entire week-end. Vendors, educators, authors, archaeologists, ceremonial stones expert, demonstrations of Northeast Woodlands skills, Native American food vendor, etc. Free. Welcoming and interesting for all ages.
