Pioneer PTA 5K and Kids’ Fun Run

About the Event

running and walking around our wonderful Pioneer neighborhood and feel like an

Olympian by starting and finishing at the Ingersoll Stadium!

We want to bring the community together to celebrate the new school year -

run, jog, or walk our lovely neighborhood course! Please leave your bikes and pets

at home. All proceeds will go towards supporting Pioneer PTA.

Event Schedule:

8:00 - 8:30am: Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration

8:30am: Kids' Fun Run Wave 1 (1 lap = 400M) and Wave 2 (2 laps = 800M)

9:00am: 5K Race Start

10:00am: Raffle and Race Awards

Course Info: 

Kids' Fun Run (up to grade 5): Kids can choose to run 1 or 2 laps around Ingersoll Stadium (400-800m)

5K: The 5K race will start and finish at Ingersoll Stadium. There will be one aid station serving water midway through the 5K course.

Registration: 5K entry fee is $30 (includes dry-fit t-shirt). 

Additional t-shirts can be purchased for an additional $15

The Kids' Fun Run is a FREE event for kids up to grade 5, please pre-register to sign waivers. If your child would like an event t-shirt, they are available on the registration form as pre-order for $15.

In order to guarantee a t-shirt, please pre-register / pre-order by Sunday, September 22nd. Additional shirts may be available for purchase on the day of the race, however sizes and quantities will be limited.

Prizes:

All race finishers will receive a finisher ribbon. 

All participants in the 5K will have a chance to win prizes from our sponsors in a raffle.
