About the Event
The PAW Chili Challenge & Hub-Cat Car Show returns to the McPherson complex on January 11th 2025. The core purpose of this event is to connect and celebrate the individuals who fight everyday for the wellness of Marion County’s animal populations. Members of the area rescue community and locals are invited to compete at making their best batch of chili, and there will be special prizes available to participating rescues. Your taste buds won’t be the only thing excited that day as we will be hosting our second annual open car show. Come out to see a wide array of automobiles carefully kept, expertly customized, and on proud display all vying to take home one of many trophies for the show. With raffles, food trucks, and a variety of vendors, the PAW Chili Challenge & Car Show will be an awesome opportunity to champion the heroes serving our furry friends.
Our Open Car Show is just that! This portion of the event is open to all makes, models, and years of automobiles. Trophies will be available for categories based on manufacturer, paint job, engine, people’s choice, and best of show. Entry into the venue will open at 9AM. To participate in this competition, contestants will need to be ready to present their vehicle by 11AM. Judging will conclude at 1PM, and trophies will be presented at 2:30PM. The fee for entry is $20 per car, with all proceeds benefiting Sheltering Hands. If you have any questions regarding the Car Show, please contact Dave at chilicookoff@shelteringhands.org.
We want to hear from you if you have an event to share or updates to this event.
