Join us for our most popular event, an important fundraiser for the operation of our organization and upkeep of Schifferstadt. Come enjoy great food and drink, lively German music, historic demonstrators, and hand-made products from many arts & crafts vendors.
Food/Beverage: Plan on having lunch or dinner with us! We will once again serve up traditional German fare including local Bratwurst and pretzels. Enjoy a variety of American and German beer and wine. We'll have dessert too!
Vendors/Artisans: Kick off your holiday shopping by patronizing a variety of arts and craft vendors. Handmade jewelry, prints, woven treasures, and much more!
Demonstrations: A variety of demonstrations will connect the past with present. Past years have included open-air cooking, blacksmithing, musket firing, woodturning, spinning, painting, and weaving.
Entertainment: In keeping with tradition, FCLF will once again welcome the Heidi und Heimat Echo Showband who will entertain attendees with traditional German music and dance.
House & Garden Tours/Gift Shop: One of the crown jewels at the event, docent-led tours of the Schifferstadt Museum will be available throughout the day for a small donation per person. Children under 12 are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Due to limited space, tours can be reserved in advance upon arrival at the event. The 18th-century garden is open for a free, self-guided tour.
Event details are subject to change. Before attending, please check with the organization to confirm.
