Nights of Lights is an annual, multi-night, free community event that showcases Christmas decorations throughout the Bellamy Mansion Museum site. Visitors follow a path through the mansion taking in the festooned mantels, elaborate gasoliers, and ornately decorated Christmas trees.
Father Christmas will make a socially distanced appearance. Refreshments will be available for sale and will include homemade baked goods and individually wrapped store-bought treats as well. Kids will be able to pick up a craft they can do at home.
In light of COVID-19 and in order to ensure the safety of guests, volunteers, and staff members, this year's open house will not include the bedroom level of the mansion or the site's original slave quarters. Groups will remain socially distant throughout, and sanitizing/hand washing stations will be available to all guests. Masks are required onsite.
A suggested donation of $5 per person is appreciated.
