About the Event

The Winter Festival is a nostalgic visit from the past. We use the weekend to celebrate timeless Vermont traditions like snowmobiling, ice skating, sledding, and bonfires. Nothing chases the frostbite blues away like heartwarming time spent with family and friends. Whether you're participating in activities or simply watching, you're going to love this winter wonderland weekend. ?

08:00 am - 08:45 am: Check-in for morning events at Gardner Park
09:00 am: Broomball Tournament Begins
10:00 am: Cardboard Sledding Competition at Prouty Beach
10:00 am - 11:30 am: Winter Snowshoe Tour at Bluffside Farm
11:00 am - 04:00 pm: WinterFest Carnival Games
12:00 pm: Check in for afternoon events at Gardner Park
01:00 pm: Slap Shot Shoot-Out Contest- Judging will begin for snow sculpting
02:00 pm: Farcical Figure Skating
03:00 pm: Youth Skate Races - Scavenger Hunt List due back
04:00 pm: Chuck-A-Puck 50-50 hosted by the Rec Committee
04:00 pm - 09:00 pm: Open Skating
