New Year's Eve Firework Celebration of Hazleton

About the Event

The City of Hazleton’s Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting the 5th annual New Year's Eve fireworks celebration at City View Park with the first launch starting at 7:00PM on Tuesday, December 31st over Hazleton’s beautiful coal mountain.

Our generous sponsors of the full fireworks display are DeAngelo Pest Control, Dermdox Dermatology Centers PC, and Partner Rentals.

People can park at City View (700 S. Poplar, Hazleton) or other locations where fireworks are visible throughout the area. Find the perfect spot and cozy up with your family or friends to view the fireworks from the comfort of your car.

The City of Hazleton’s New Year's Eve fireworks celebration is a time to celebrate, reflect, and reminisce on all that has happened throughout the current year, and to focus on new areas of improvement that you can kick off at the start of the new dazzling year of 2025.

According to Chinese mythology it will be the year of the Snake which begins on January 29th. The year of the Snake will be a time of tremendous opportunity, renewal and potential. Like a snake sheds its skin and emerges with a new appearance, we too are advised to let go of our old habits and fixed ideas. Surely the year of the Snake 2025 can be an excellent time to start new projects, explore new opportunities or even make significant changes in your life.
