Ring in the New Year with friends old and new in Downtown Dublin GA during New Year’s Eve Shamrock Drop! Admission is free, and all ages are welcome when Theatre Dublin in Downtown Dublin GA hosts 2024’s farewell street party! 

A New Year Tradition

Be awed as a brilliantly lit shamrock descends from behind the historic Theatre Dublin at midnight! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to set your family up in the theatre parking lot. Eight Track Flashback will have you dancing under the stars from 8 PM right into the New Year in Downtown Dublin GA.

NYE is a night of indulgence, and food truck options will be onsite to guide you on a culinary journey to bid farewell to the old year!

Usher in 2025 Dublin-style! Way back in the day, it was a tradition to gather in front of Lauren’s County’s oldest bank, Farmers and Merchants Bank, on New Year’s Eve to watch the clock turn to midnight. Originally located in Downtown Dublin on Jackson Street, Farmers and Merchants Bank is no more, but the Downtown Dublin Development Authority, Main Street Dublin, and City of Dublin brought the tradition back with New Year’s Eve Shamrock Drop at the Fred Roberts! This year, the drop is moving to the parking lot of Theatre Dublin.
