6:30pm: Classical Conversations at Silver Center for the Arts, Hanaway Theatre

Join us at a pre-concert conversation hosted by violinist John Fetter on the evening’s program. Hear from special guests, like Maestro Paul Polivnick and featured soloists of the week!

Classical Conversations have moved within the Silver Center! Our Classical Conversations that occur at 6:30 p.m. before each concert are changing locations from the Silver Center’s Smith Recital Hall to the Hanaway Theatre. The new location is just across the lobby and can accommodate a much larger audience. This lecture and discussion series has become so popular that it has outgrown the number of seats available in the previous location.

Doors will open to the Hanaway Theatre at 6:15 p.m. where ushers will encourage you to sit up front near our wonderful guest speakers. You do not have to take your assigned seat for the lecture but please be sure to move to that seat prior to concert start. You are welcome to take house-purchased beverages into the theatre.

Your tickets for the concert will be scanned when you enter the lecture. When the lecture concludes at 7:00 p.m., you are welcome to return to the lobby for refreshments or a quick break before the concert begins. At 7:30 p.m., you may show your previously-scanned ticket to quickly locate your assigned seats for the concert.
