The parade will assemble on Water, Pearl, and Gravel Streets on the Groton side of the Mystic River. Military personnel will normally be placed in the first Division. The parade will step off promptly at 2:00 p.m. (rain or shine) with the First Division on Water Street followed by the Second and Third Divisions. All units are requested to be at their assembly points by 1:00 p.m. As in the past there is no entry fee, judging, or prizes. So candy or goods may he thrown for safety reasons.
A Memorial service will be held at the V.F.W. Post Home immediately following the parade, your attendance at this service will be appreciated. Food and beverages will be available in the rear lot of the Post. Parking is available in the upper rear lots of the V.F.W. and across the street at Brustolon's lot. So Parking will be allowed on U.S. Route 1.
