Don’s early-onset Alzheimer’s has progressed to a point where it’s clear that the lives of both he and his family are about to change dramatically. His son Matt and his wife Patsy decide to take him and their families on one last trip to Myrtle Beach, a place where Don and Patsy always took their family during Matt’s youth. As they accept the tough diagnosis and prepare for that trip, the effects of dealing with the Don’s worsening condition impact everyone differently.
