Sunflower Festival event is free and sponsored by the Manzano Mountain Art Council, supported in part by New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Accommodations — Make a weekend of it!

Come for the Sunflower Festival and stay for the weekend at one our comfortable accommodations listed below. Mountainair offers the best access to the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, consisting of ruins at three sites: Quarai, Abó, and Gran Quivira. Because of its proximity to these ruins, Mountainair is known as the "Gateway to Ancient Cities." Also, visit our interesting shops and restaurants and enjoy a stroll through town to see our community murals featured in the Walking Tour.

Turner Inn & RV Park (Pet Friendly)

This independently, American owned motel and RV park is situated at the east end of Mountainair and offers a friendly and inviting atmosphere at affordable prices. Two Ponyz Ranch

Two Ponyz Ranch is a spacious 40-acre ranch adjacent to the Cibola National Forest.
