Artist and Crafter:

The Mountain Makins Festival prides itself on the high quality pieces made by our Crafters and Artists.  All crafters and artists must complete a rigorous jury process to gain entry into the show. Jurists for Mountain Makins know the artistry and skills necessary for an award-winning arts and crafts show and work to ensure that all items meet those high standards.  The jury is made up of regional artists, gallery curators, and crafters themselves.

Mountain Makins requires all items at the Festival are hand-made with absolutely no reselling.  Mountain Makins stands by the commitment to the high quality arts and crafts presented at the festival each year.  We also stand by our commitment to ensuring local artists and crafters have opportunities to make a living right here in East Tennessee.
