The Strand Center for the Arts is excited to host an Artisan Market to celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend! This outdoor Market will be held on The Strand Center front lawn and parking lot.

Concerning the Market, Event Coordinator Nancy Armitage stated, “We are completely over the moon with the response to this Market. We have over 40 vendors ranging in many different artistic mediums and food goods! This is by far the biggest Market we have hosted and cannot wait to see everyone’s amazing work all together in one place. We hope to continue this new tradition and to help new and experienced artists showcase their work in our community.”

A statement made by Brenda Heywood from Heywood Farms Maple concerning the Markets, “Awesome experience at The Artisan Market on March 20th, being a newcomer we were graciously welcomed by the staff and volunteers - they couldn’t have been more helpful.  The music made for great ambiance and there was a steady flow of friendly shoppers the entire 4 hours, we were very pleased with our sales for the day.   We’re very excited to participate in the upcoming events!”
