Open to the public. $5.00 per vehicle (excludes campers).

11:00 a.m. Halloween Tie Dye ($)*: Let your imagination run wild and create a spooktacular Halloween souvenir to take home. Supplies limited. Program begins promptly. Purchase your shirts 30 minutes ahead of the program time. Fee: $10 per Big Bone shirt $6 per plain shirt *certain sizes of t-shirts may be temporarily out of stock.

1:00 p.m. Mummy Races: Ready, set, go! Race against the clock to create the best mummy in all of Big Bone. If your team wraps up the best mummy the fastest, win a prize!

3:00 p.m. The Great Pumpkin: The Great Pumpkin is lost! Help find him and save Halloween! The Great Pumpkin will be hidden somewhere in the campground. Meet up with interpretive staff for clues on his location. The finder of the Great Pumpkin gets to keep him!

6:00 p.m. Costume Contest: Do you think you have the scariest costume in all of Big Bone? Or maybe the most creative or cutest? Show it off at your campsite site during our Trick-or-Treating Parade! Prizes awarded for most creative, cutest, scariest, funniest, and best all around.  

6:00 p.m. Trick-or-Treating: It’s time! The sweetest event of the season! Dressed in your very best costumes, join the entire campground in celebrating one of the spookiest nights of the year. Candy is handed out via our staff parade stopping by each campsite! Be sure to be in costume for the costume contest judging!

6:00 p.m. Pumpkin Carving Contest: Let your Halloween spirit shine bright by displaying your hand carved pumpkin for all guests and ghouls to see! Have pumpkins easily visible at the front of your site to be considered in the contest. Must supply own pumpkin. Use of stencils or patterns is prohibited. Winners will be awarded during Trick-or-Treat.

7:00 p.m. Haunted Mini-Golf ($): Continue Halloween celebration with a round of spooky, glow in the dark mini-golf! Decorations, lights, sounds, and glow in the dark equipment will be sure to send a shiver down your spine. Have no fear, the ghouls and ghosts have gone to bed! Appropriate for all ages. Fee: $5 per person
