Come and experience Military History like no one else can offer. Rice County Steam & Gas Engines, Inc. will be hosting this Military Timeline Living History Event. You will see reenactors portraying many different Nationalities from many different periods. Minnesota's Largest WWII Reenactment happens here.
Schedule of Events:
8:00 am: Registration Opens at the Food Pavilion. Start setting up on site. Please Check In and Register before setting up. All Reenactors, Volunteers and Vendors must Register. This is where you will find your campsite and get your meal ticket. If no one is there, ask the Airborne guys for Mr. Daniels. He will take care of you.
9:30 am: Safety & Authenticity at the West Field. All Units from All Time Periods will be formed up in their uniform and equipment with their firearm. Be sure to have a proper haircut for your time period.
Immediately following S&A, WW2 Commanders Meeting at the West Field.
9:45 am: All Reenactors will police their camps during the meeting. There will be NO modern items visible to the public.
9:45 am: All modern vehicles must be moved to the Reenactor parking lot. NO exceptions.
10:00 am: Site Opens to the Public.
10:30 am: Flag raising at the Front Gate & New Ulm Battery Civil War Cannon Firing at the East Field.
11:00 am: Weapons Demo at the West Field.
11:30 am: Russian Front Battle at the West Field.
12:30 pm: Paratrooper Hands on History Demo at the Airborne Camp.
1:00 pm: Rifle Grenade Launcher Demo at the West Field.
1:30 pm: WW2 Baseball Game in the middle of the grounds.
2:00 pm: New Ulm Battery Civil War Cannon Drill at the East Field.
2:30 pm: Normandy Battle at the West Field.
3:00 pm: Author Symposium in the Vendor Barn.
3:30 pm: Weapons Demo at the West Field.
4:00 pm: Ft.Snelling Fife & Drums will be playing around the grounds.
4:30 pm: Flag Lowering at the Town Hall with the Ft. Snelling Fife & Drums & New Ulm Battery Civil War Cannon Firing at the East Field.
5:00 pm: Site Closes to the Public.
6:30 pm: Reenactor Dinner at the Food Pavilion. All reenactors must have their meal ticket to get food. You will get your ticket when you register.
$8.00 with a Non-Perishable Food Item; $10.00 without
