About the Event

Join us for the Metro District Angels Run, organized by the Metro District Community Collaboration to support our community and local businesses! Proceeds will go toward providing new shoes for children in need in partnership with Angels on Patrol, a 501c nonprofit. Lace up your sneakers and be part of a 1-mile or 5K race option, making a difference for kids and the local community, one step at a time.

Every donation to Angels on Patrol will help police officers provide shoes to children in need. Founded in 2009 by Phoenix Police Lt. Jacqui MacConnell after rescuing three children from severe abuse, Angels on Patrol was created to address urgent needs beyond police capacity. Since then, over 22,000 lives have been touched, with about 2,000 people helped each year across Valley communities.

When officers encounter crises that need compassion, not arrests, Angels on Patrol steps in, offering immediate support and connecting people to essential resources. Your donation helps bridge gaps in community support, empowering officers to make a difference.
