Join Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, in partnership with its Student Advocates Association (SAA) and Riverside Runners, for the first MEDICAL MOUNTAINS: 5K Run/Walk.

The event will take place on the brand new course on the Black Water Creek Trail—it's never before been done. The 5K will start using the new bridge connection for an out and back loop. Get your 5K PR on this relatively flat trail or enjoy a nice walk in the later waves.

The proceeds of this race will benefit student-doctors who are currently attending Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) and experiencing extreme medical hardships. Most families have very limited financial resources during medical school and when someone in their family has a medical emergency, it quickly becomes a financial burden. Even after graduation, osteopathic physicians/graduates still have a minimum of three years until they will experience any substantial income making it nearly impossible to pay off any medical bills accrued at that time.
