The Markell Family Cultural Arts Festival is home to Memphis’ most outstanding Jewish arts, entertainment, and educational events! Come gather with friends and community to enjoy this incredible season of authors, talks, and performances!

Pop Up Free Library
For the duration of our Cultural Arts Festival, we will have a Pop-Up Free Library in the Makowsky Family Athletic Lobby. Come and browse hundreds of titles and take home something that inspires you!

Bar Kocva Israeli Art Expo
Sunday, October 27-Wednesday, November 13
Featuring work of over 45 Israeli artists. Come shop these beautiful pieces from October 27 to November 13 in the MJCC lobby.

Youth Art Contest: Celebrate the Arts!
Entry Deadline: October 27, 2024
We invite artists (ages 5-18) to create a 2-D piece of art with the theme ‘Celebrate the Arts’. The contest will have 4 age categories: 5-7 years, 8-10 years, 11-13 years, and 14-18 years.
