Please call before attending any community events. It is likely that they will be postponed or canceled as a result of the coronavirus. You can find CDC coronavirus information at cdc.gov/coronavirus; AARP has additional resources at aarp.org/coronavirus.
Man Talk provides courage for confronting cancer. It is open to men who have cancer or have a loved one with cancer. The group is a safe place for discussing any and all topics, both about cancer and things unrelated to cancer. It might simply be subjects around living life as a healthy human being, such as relationships, work, hobbies, and any topic of interest to the group, on any particular day.
Our Spiritual Care provider starts each gathering with an inspirational thought, but after that there is no set structure to each week’s gathering. It’s up to the group to provide the direction for that day’s conversation, and you can stay as long as you want.
You don’t need a reservation, and you can stay in the group for as long as you want or need.
