It’s the first and largest summer event on the Island, attracting thousands of visitors. Festivities for the 10-day festival include the coronation of the Lilac Festival Queen and Court, Lilac Festival Run/Walk, Mackin-Paws Dog Celebration, the Lilac Festival Grand Stationary Parade and much more.
8:30 am: Walking Tour with Lilac Expert Jeff Young. Meet at northwest bench in Marquette Park
9:00 am - 8:00 pm: View the collection of all the Lilac Festival posters on display Mission Point Theatre
10:00 am - 5:30 pm:Complimentary admission to the Richard and Jane Manoogian Art Museum
10:00 am - 8:00 pm: Local Artists Nicki Griffith and Pat Pulte new works Murray Hotel Lower Gallery
10:45 am - 12:15 pm: Easy Like Sunday Mornin’ with DJ Mike Williford Sip N' Sail Cruise. Tickets are $40
11:00 am: Special Tour Fort Mackinac. Included with admission
Afternoon: Fly Kites with Great Turtle Toys Windermere Point. Weather permitting
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Grand Stationary Parade Green Space next to Mackinac Island Public School and Windermere Point
1:30 pm: Special Tour Fort Mackinac.
5:30 pm: Raffle Party Mary’s Bistro. Tickets are $100. First place is $3,000 and 2nd-7th place is $1,000 each. Drawing is at 6:30 pm
