Tim Lackas has a BA in Music from the University of Minnesota.  He has been an educator, composer and performer in the Twin Cities for more than 30 years, as a solo artist as well as with Jazz Savvy and other jazz ensembles, R&B bands, various Twin Cities vocalists, and churches. 

Tim also leads the CC Septet which has played at clubs and festivals all over the Twin Cities, including the Dakota in Minneapolis, and has had music from its 4 CDs featured on KBEM jazz radio.
