Alan Husby, of the Barbara Meyer Trio, will be performing on his guitar today.

Alan Husby grew up in Minneapolis, started playing the guitar at age 10, and has been playing and singing with local jazz, folk, and gospel groups around the Twin Cities for 20+ years.  He recently retired from teaching and is now enjoying the additional time to play and sing and write.  He continues to perform with the Jumping Jehosaphats, the Barbara Meyer Trio, World Beat Connection, "It's Not Too Late" (a Carole King / James Taylor tribute band), and various other joyful combinations of musician friends.
