Light It Up at Lakeshore 5K

About the Event

Tired of the summer heat?  Come out and support the Forerunners Cross Country team and the future improvements to Lakeshore Trails while running a NIGHT trail race.  The course will be lit with portable light towers and rope lights.  This unique race will take place on a double loop 5K course called Lakeshore Trails that's used to host numerous middle school and high school races during the fall season.  Temperatures are a little cooler and the atmosphere is exciting at night.  All proceeds go towards funding the Forerunner Cross Country season and for course improvements for future races.  The course is located on Classic Drive in Hattiesburg on part of the old Van Hook Golf Course. 

Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers as well as the overall masters male and female.

Age group awards will be presented to the top three male and female winners in 0-14 yr old, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over age groups.
