Joe Bourne: “ Spring Into Summer”
With special guest Dennis Rowland

Joe Bourne’s velvety baritone vocalism and spicy showmanship have been wooing audiences from Germany to California for several decades, offering up selections of jazz, blues, and special renditions of songs from the American song book of yesterday and today.

During his 25 years in Europe, Bourne shared the stage with dozens of American acts including the Stylistics, Natalie Cole, the Pointer Sisters and Ray Charles. In the U.S. he partners with pops orchestras in a unique presentation he dubs “Great Gentlemen of Jazz, Blues and Pop,” treating music lovers to favorites by chart-topping icons such as Lou Rawls, Nat King Cole and others. Joe was nominated in the ARTISTS Category for the 40th Annual Arizona Governor’s Arts Awards 2021.

Dennis Rowland is Joe Bourne’s special guest on this show.  Dennis was the vocalist with the Count Basie Orchestra from 1977-83. He is a Concord Jazz Recording Artist and winner of the 2018 Arizona Governor’s Arts Award. These two gentlemen together for a Mother’s Day weekend show: PRICELESS!
