Historic Halifax
25 St. David St
Halifax, NC 27839

Join historic interpreters at Historic Halifax for living-history activities, tours of historic buildings, a scene from the First For Freedom outdoor drama, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence! Stick around for the Town of Halifax's annual July 4th Celebration and fireworks display on the grounds of the Halifax County Courthouse, where the fun begins at 5 p.m. with a repeat performance of the "delegation scene" from First For Freedom. There will be plenty of food, music, childrens activities and more. The celebration ends with a fireworks display at about 9 p.m
