47th Annual Houston Museum Antiques Show and Sale

“We are thrilled to present our 47th, uninterrupted show for our friends here in town and around the region. This year’s show has not been without its challenges but we are determined to make it special and safe for all who can attend.” says Amy Autenreith, Executive Director for the Houston Museum.

Clements Auctions will be holding an Appraisal Fair during the Antiques show. Appraisals will be held on Friday and Saturday and guests can register for a time slot between 12:00pm and 5:00pm. Pre-registration for this event is required. The price for appraisals is $25 per object, $70 for up to three objects. Payment will be accepted on the day of the event. Cash, cards, and checks are accepted. Appointments will be approximately 5-6 minutes per object. Guests can reserve their spot by emailing info@clementsauctions.com. Appropriate items: furniture (photos will suffice if the object is too large), glass, porcelain, silver, art, Asian items, fine art, sculptures, oriential rugs, documents, etc. No: Native American artifacts, firearms, pre-Columbian artifacts, or fossils. Guests with large objects should make arrangements to bring someone to help carry the items. These are verbal appraisals and are not for fiduciary purposes where a formal, written appraisal is required. All proceeds benefit the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts.

Sand Mountain Pottery Of special interest for local collectors, there will be a presentation on Sand Mountain Pottery, by Danny Maltbie at 1:00pm. Come and listen to Danny as he weaves a tale about the creation and history of this beautiful and highly collectible pottery made just down the road in Alabama, not far from Chattanooga. Your show ticket is your admission to this presentation.

Tickets good for the entire 3 day weekend are available for just $10.
