Summer is here and Hot Summer Sounds in back in Temple! The Scott and White Health Plan Hot Summer Sounds Free Concert Series is going back on Tour Friday evenings this summer.  Enjoy some great live music featuring a different genre each week at selected parks across Temple.

Grab your lawn chairs, pack a picnic basket, and enjoy a relaxing evening in the park with friends, family and other community members.

Social distancing and other safety measures will be enforced.

Food vendors will be on-hand for the event, NO glass containers.

Hair Metal Giants

Hair Metal Giants is an 80s tribute band from Austin, TX. Some call it 'pop metal'... some call it 'glam metal'... by whatever name you favor, we are devoted to that amazing era of rock from the late 70's to the early 90's most people call 'hair metal'. Big melodies, big harmonies, big anthems, and yes, of course, big hair!

The band got its start in 2013 when Paul formed Emerson Giants - a variety classic-rock band. After years of playing around Austin, learning what worked on stage (and sometimes, what didn't), and noticing that the feel-good anthems, rockers and power ballads of the 'hair metal' era went over big with Central Texas audiences, Emerson Giants became Hair Metal Giants - focusing in on "The Best Decade of Rock" - the 80s!

Meticulously researching and recreating the looks, stage presence and sounds of the bands of this era is our highest priority - along with making our shows "Nothin' But A Good Time" for the audience.

We live up to the band's motto to "Rock and Roll All Nite -- and party every day!"
