About the Event
The Holly Dickens Festival is the longest-running of its kind, and completely organized by local volunteers of all ages who bring Holly to life every holiday season welcoming thousands of people from all over Michigan and beyond.
Stroll the streets of historic Battle Alley, visit unique shops, and dine on delicious food. Fill your senses with smell of roasting chestnuts, hot chocolate, and maybe even a little gruel! Lose yourself the music of Christmas carolers, the joy of holiday colors and lights, and feel the warmth of friends and neighbors greeting you on every corner.

Festival Schedules And Events
6:00pm: Dickens Lighted Parade at Downtown Holly
The Dickens Lighted Parade is the official start of the festival and holiday season in Holly. Dozens of local people and organizations participate, filling the sights and sounds of Downtown Holly with amazing floats, music, dance, and more.
2024 Parade Route
The parade lines up in the parking lot of the VFW on Airport Road in Holly, then heads down Saginaw Street towards Downtown, then onto Civic Drive where the tree lighting ceremony takes place, followed by a very special visit from Father Christmas himself: Santa Claus!
