Join the Highland Rock Orchestra (HRO) on December 3rd, 2024, at the Carolina Theatre for an electrifying performance!

This concert performance will raise funds for Lantern Rescue, a charity fighting human trafficking.

This annual event is an unforgettable mix of rock, classical music, dazzling lights, and powerful storytelling—a perfect way to celebrate the holiday season while supporting a meaningful cause.  It is an exciting event that unites people across generations and interests through their combined love of spectacular live music and the excitement of the Christmas season.

HRO was born from founder Donnie Wright’s life-changing experience at a Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) concert on New Year’s Eve, 1999. After seeing TSO 23 times, Donnie was inspired to bring that same energy to his community.

Since 2006, HRO has grown into an 11-member ensemble, wowing audiences with TSO covers and original arrangements. Don’t miss this high-energy Christmas concert that showcases local talent, classical masterpieces, and a heartwarming holiday spirit.
