This holiday tradition is held the first Saturday in December featuring hay rack rides, marshmallow roasting and Cowboy Coffee around a bonfire. Kids can write letters to Santa and send them via Pony Express to Santa’s Village in downtown Gering. A hot meal is served while supplies last - your choice of ham with Navy Bean, potato, vegetable or Calico bean soup ($5) or a hot dog ($4)  A beverage, bread, and dessert are included. High Plains Christmas is also the kickoff to the Trees Along the Trail Christmas tree decorating contest.

Entrance for Lunch and Trees Along the Trail is Free

Admission to Exhibit Hall is $5 for adults and all children under 12 are free. Members are free.
