Hardy County Heritage Weekend

Saturday, Sep 28, 2019 at 8:00am

Various Venues
Moorefield, WV 26836

Heritage Weekend began in 1953 as a way to raise money for the Hardy County Public Library. This annual event is always the last full weekend in September and honors the rich culture and history of our wonderful country.

Each year Heritage Weekend highlights a historic home by preserving its image on a decorative tile.  This year is a first, as we are honoring an historic barn (instead of a home) because of its uniqueness and as a tribute to our agricultural history.

There is something for everybody to enjoy at the 66th annual Hardy County Heritage Weekend! Join us for a family movie night with the 1964 classic Mary Poppins, a muzzle loading contest, historic homes tours, wonderful food, a craft show with over 30 vendors, demonstrations, a quilt show, vintage tractors and automobiles, a pie making contest, civil war reenactors, a train ride, great music, an antique auction and much more.
