Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church invites you to a Weekend in Greece!

This three day festival celebrates Greek culture and food. We invite you and your family to this public event. Admission and parking are free.

The festival features live, authentic, Greek dancing, Greek music, and, of course, Greek food! Parishioners prepare all of our traditional Greek favorites for our visitors. If you run out of room before getting to dessert, don't worry! Our food and desserts are also available for take out. In addition, we have cultural displays and guided tours of the Byzantine-style church. Guests get the opportunity to view the beautiful iconography inside the Church, and to learn more about Greek history and the Greek Orthodox religion. This festival is not to be missed! The Sacramento Bee (2/7/2014) notes that our festival "has a more homegrown vibe to it". Our handcrafted Greek cuisine, cultural experience and lively, festive atmosphere allow guests and their families to enjoy a beautiful and fun, "Weekend in Greece"!
