Presented by Jackson Hole Jewelry Co. Sir Donald Runnicles, conductor Augustin Hadelich, violin Detlev Glanert: Vexierbild (World Premiere) Beethoven: Violin Concerto Brahms: Symphony No. 3
GTMF favorite Augustin Hadelich returns to Walk Festival Hall to perform the work Joseph Joachim called “the greatest, most uncompromising” of the German violin concertos. Maestro Donald Runnicles will also lead the Festival Orchestra in Brahms’ “free but happy” Symphony No. 3 and a world premiere companion piece composed by Detlev Glanert.
Join us for a pre-concert talk at 6 PM with GTMF Violinist Ling Ling Huang in the Barbara Furrer Goodman Memorial Garden near Walk Festival Hall’s north entrance. Talks are sponsored by the Goodman Family Foundation, in memory of Roy and Barbara Goodman.
