Gobble on the Green 5K

About the Event

The Village Green offers a 5K Run/Walk through the beautiful and serene mountain village of Cashiers, Gobble On the Green!! Be sure to register by November 12th at 2:30PM to ensure your new, commemorative, and collectable Gobble on The Green t-shirt!!

This year, extra t-shirts will not be ordered, so be sure to grab your Free t-shirt (a $25 value) included with every $35 registration! Whether it’s your first Gobble on The Green or your fifth, these t-shirts are a must-have! Each year, we roll out brand-new, collectable designs!

Additional activities include the third annual Junior Warrior Course held at The Village Green Playground for children! This fun and interactive course is Free and family-friendly.

Pre-race check in will be available on Wednesday, Nov. 27th from 3-6pm at The Village Green’s Lewis Hall (160 Frank Allen Rd in Cashiers) for participants to get their bibs and pick up t-shirts early. We encourage participants to check in early to ensure an on-time race start on Thanksgiving morning!

Race day check in will be available from 7:15-8:30am on Thanksgiving morning!

Please keep in mind that some areas of the race course are gravel, grass, dirt and paved. While we are a dog friendly park, due to the number of participants, there is no dog participation with this event.

Four door prizes from local businesses will be given based on random bib number drawings beginning at 9:30am on the Commons Stage. Awards for the top two overall winners in 7 age categories will begin after door prize announcements. Participants must be present to win.

Awards: The top two overall winners (male and female) will receive pies in addition to race medals. Age level awards will be given to the top two finishers (male and female) in 7 age groups.
