The USATF-sanctioned, chip-timed 3.1-mile race travels along Superior Street, London Road, and the Lakewalk starting and ending back at Fitger’s. This is 1 of the 3 KP Challenge races!

All net proceeds from the Fitger’s 5K benefit the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF). The YAF was developed by Grandma’s Marathon in 1990 to assist with the promotion and development of healthy and active lifestyles for youth throughout Carlton, Cook, Douglas, Lake and St. Louis Counties.

Participation Options

With safety plans in place, we are excited to offer the following options for you to complete the 2021 Fitger’s 5K!

In-Person Option: We will be hosting a chip timed, in-person version of the Fitger’s 5K on Saturday, April 17, 2021. In order to do so safely and in accordance with the MDH Guidelines, we will be offering wave start times. Look for more information about the different waves times when registration opens. 

Virtual option: With this option, you may complete the  Fitger’s 5K at a time and location of your choice during the timeframe that is TBD.

Entry Fees: 

$35 adults ($40 late registration); $15 youth ages 6-14. Non-refundable
