First Day Hike at Gifford Pinchot State Park

About the Event

Kick off the New Year and 2025 with an easy to moderate walk at Gifford Pinchot State Park. Led by the park naturalist, we will walk approximately 1.5 miles in the Conewago Day Use area. Don’t miss this opportunity to keep those New Year resolutions to get more exercise and spend quality time outdoors! This is a free, family-friendly program. Be sure to dress for the weather, with layers for comfort, warmth, and to stay dry!

Meet the group at the main day use building in the Conewago Day Use area (1202 Alpine Road, Wellsville, PA) in time to begin walking promptly at 11:00 am. Please call the park office if you have any questions or concerns, especially about the weather conditions.
