We will meet at the Eppson Center (1560 North 3rd Street) and caravan to the lek site to view - from a respectful distance - the strutting and booming of the male Sage Grouse as they woo the watching females. These guys are early birds, so we'll depart from the Eppson Center at 6 a.m. and anticipate being back in Laramie around 8 a.m.
Please wear a mask and be mindful of social distancing. In addition, bring your binoculars (if you have them), an extra layer (perhaps two), sun protection, and water/snacks if you would like them. Most trips will last for two to three hours, but attendees are free to leave at any time.
Please pre-register by emailing us email@example.com so that we can anticipate the group size and plan social distancing measures accordingly.
