Fertile Ground Festival features new "acts of creation" in the arts from a wide swath of local creators. Presented by Portland Area Theatre Alliance.

The Fertile Ground Festival, a program of the Portland Area Theatre Alliance (PATA), provides a platform for all local artists to showcase their new work. The Festival gives the local community and visitors alike, 11 days to discover and celebrate experimental, daring and innovative new work from local playwrights, choreographers, puppeteers, improvisers, animators, mixed media artists and more.
