With a fascinating history, Wallace is entirely listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and was named one of America’s Great Places by the American Planning Association. Home to three museums, two Hall of Fame Rails to Trails routes, two ski resorts, thousands of miles of off road trails, a dozen saloons, restaurants, hotels and much more.

Schedule:

“Wallace Believe It or Not” - 11 a.m., NPR Depot. Museum curator Shauna Hillman will lead a walking tour ofWallace and dispel some of the common myths. (limit 25)

“Historic Homes and Hot Tea” - Noon to 4 p.m., Reservations required; tour times assigned. Tour five historic Wallace homes, a new museum and a beautiful church, ending with refreshments at the Wallace Carnegie Library. Leaves from Barnard-Stockbridge Museum, 312 4th St.
