Exhibition - The Art of Texas: 250 Years

This May a major and massive exhibition will open at the Witte Museum – The Art of Texas: 250 Years. Artists range from 19th century Theodore Gentilz to 20th century Georgia O’Keeffe. The more than hundred art pieces will include a mural by John Biggers, a sculpture by Jesús Moroles, and a painting by Julian Onderdonk, “Chili Queens at the Alamo,” that once graced the Oval Office during President George W. Bush’s time in the White House. Art will travel from museums and collectors from throughout the United States and in Texas, from El Paso to Houston and from Dallas to Corpus Christi.

Exhibition Date: Now Through – August 25, 2019

General Admission: 

Adults (12 to 64 years old) $14.00

Seniors (65 years and older) $13.00

Military (with ID) $13.00

Children (4 to 11 years old) $10.00

Children (3 years and under) FREE
