This exhibition, conceived by Carr Center Gallery curator Erin Falker-Obichigha, takes you “behind the scenes”, documenting and exploring the creative vision, design, and functionality of The Carr Virtual Center, our new real time interactive website.

The exhibition documents and explores the creative vision, design, and functionality of our new interactive site. The exhibition combines echoes of the virtual space within the physical environment of the gallery, creating an exhibition that exists in two-and-a-half dimensions.

This entire project was created and developed with the help of our partners at the A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, and a dedicated team of young talented designers from the Taubman Public Design Corps (TPDC).

Exhibition Date: September 25 – December 13, 2020

Location: The Carr Center Gallery (inside the Park Shelton)
