Exhibition - Sam Moyer: Tone

Sam Moyer has produced a new body of work focused on connection and contemplation, exploring the boundaries of the 1:1 relationship between maker and material. These paintings and sculptures investigate a scale related to the body brought on by the deepened physical closeness to her work in response to limitations caused by the pandemic. For this exhibition, Moyer has married stone remnants with hand applied plaster painted in layers, creating complex surfaces that reflect time.
