Folk mysticism, cultural tradition, digital technology, and social media converge in our newest exhibit, Guilty Party. Through the multimedia works of various Asian Pacific American artists, visual artist and curator Justin Hoover showcases the complicated relationship between the joys of community, identity, and self expression, and the fears that come from defying cultural norms in a time when everything is so exposed. See body adornment and costumes come to life and intersect in an age where the delights and tribulations of social media are inescapable.

Featured artists include Jeffrey Augustine Songco, Chanel, Matsunami Govreau (Queen Gidrea), Mail Order Brides (Reanne Estrada, Eliza Barrios, Jenifer Wofford), Saya Woolfalk and Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow.

Exhibition Date: May 16, 2020 - May 18, 2021.
