Frances Palmer: Life in the Studio features photographs by Frances Palmer, a member of Wave Hill’s Friends of Horticulture and ceramicist of international reputation, in anticipation of the release of her first book of the eponymous title. A selection of photographs from the book are on view in Wave Hill House. The photographs bring together the abundance of her garden with the individuality of each vessel she creates. They are a regular part of her practice and often featured on her brimming Instagram account and are also available for sale directly from the artist.
Frances Palmer is a potter who makes inventive, handmade ceramics that are durable and strong for every day use. She is also known for her exceptional garden which comes together in the photographs that are on view in this exhibition.
