The City of Gaithersburg presents “Big, Bold and Beautiful III,” an exhibit featuring large two-dimensional pieces. The exhibit is on display March 19 through May 16, 2021, at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg. Viewing hours are by appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All visitors must wear masks and practice social distancing.

With its expansive entrance and hallway, Bohrer Park’s Activity Center provides the ideal location for an exhibit featuring large-scale artwork, allowing patrons to enjoy the pieces as they are meant to be seen in a sizable space. Curated by Mary Weiss-Waldhorn, the exhibit is comprised of work selected from the annual call to artists as well as by invitation. Artists exhibiting include Sara Bardin, Donna Baron, Sandra Davis, Teresa Jarzynski, Hiral Joshi, Sheryl Massaro, Chitra Sharma, Brian Truesdale, Deborah Walmer, and Carl Yonder.

Please note that most of the included artwork is for sale and all images are copyrighted by the artists. For more information, please contact 301-258-6394, e-mail artgalleries@gaithersburgmd.gov, or visit the Activity Center at Bohrer Park gallery webpage.
