Michael Anderson - Oil
Michael Anderson is a visual artist based in Belleville, IL working in traditional mediums of oils, watercolors and drawing. He established Michael Anderson Studio in the early 1980’s and has blended a lengthy career of architectural illustration, fine art commissions and digital art.Michael’s plein air paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions at the Third Degree Glass Factory(2019) and The Ethical Society of St. Louis(2017). Green Door Gallery previously featured Michael's work in 2019.
Artist Statement: It is the mystery of luminosity, the fascination of the eye with color and the perception of space that are my sources of inspiration. It is the ability to awaken a forgotten memory, to discover a new way of seeing the familiar as well as the power to evoke emotion, especially happiness and awe, that I am certain is the triumph of painting.

Joe Bova Conti - Silver and Stone Jewelry
Joe Bova Conti is a local artist, designer and craftsman.  Joe attended Fontbonne College on an art scholarship beginning in 1975.  He has apprenticed with master jewelers and worked with Native American Craftsman for over 2 decades. All the work here is completely handmade without modern casting tools.  The pieces are cut out, forged, filed, hammered and assembled into wearable pieces of art.  Each piece is individually made by Joe. The inspiration for his pieces can be found in nature.  Many pieces are reminders of landscapes and the beauty of our world.  Joe has traveled extensively through the United States and Europe.  The stones used are all natural and from ethically sourced locations all over the globe, some being quite rare and all unique.

Greg Kluempers - Photography
I bought my first 35mm camera in 1970.  Shortly after that I enrolled at Florissant Valley Community College to study art. I found the photography classes to be very enjoyable.
We studied composition and used photography to creatively express ourselves.  At that time we were only working in black and white. In 1972 I participated in my first show with 10 other students.  I continued to study photography and to take photos throughout the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. In 1999 I returned to Florissant Valley at night and in June, 2006 I received Associate in Fine Arts Degree  - Photography while working full time. In 2000 I started participating in Art shows and fairs in the St. Louis area. In 2014 I retired from Boeing and I am pursuing photography full time.

Julie Wiegand - Oil
I have been a working artist in Missouri for over 40 years. I grew up in the Missouri River Bottoms of Chesterfield, surrounded by huge cottonwood trees and farm fields for miles. I continue to express my connection & love of nature through my art. My oil paintings and murals express light & color interactions within a subject. Gathering information and inspiration from my life experience , I work both plein air and in my studio, from my drawings, plein air studies , and photo reference . I am drawn to simple compositions & strive to convey the feelings of my chosen subjects---solitude, peace, joy, excitement----within landscape, figurative, & still life oil paintings & murals. There is true joy for me in capturing a mood with color & light!

Aly Ytterberg - Acrylic
Aly Ytterberg is a native St. Louis artist who works mainly with acrylic paint. Her current body of work focuses on abstract, minimalist landscapes. She breaks down images of nature into their simpler forms and colors in order to help us to see the world around us in a new light.
