This year’s Festival of Trees and Light, now expanded to three weeks, is chock full of programs and activities for all Central New York families to enjoy. It includes incredible live performances, art-making and storytelling activities for kids, and stunning displays of seasonal items and trees for purchase. New this year, the Festival will include a Holiday Marketplace featuring artist-made wares and locally sourced products to meet all your gift-giving needs.  Enjoy refreshments throughout the Festival. 

Schedule:

11:00am-2:00pm Winter Wonderland - Stories from People of the Longhouse - Danial Education Center

Perry Ground member of the Onondaga, Turtle Clan; traditional storyteller and cultural educator brings to life Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) legends through vivid, interactive stories and the traditional Cornhusk Doll.

11:00-11:30 Storytelling

11:30-1:00 Cornhusk Doll Making

1:30-2:00 Storytelling

11:00am-12:00pm Carol Rothwell Studio - Hosmer Auditorium

Enjoy performances by the students of Carol Rothwell Studio. Carol Rothwell provides private music lessons in voice, piano, clarinet, flute, and saxophone at her home studio in Manlius, NY and at Fabius Pompey school.

12:30-1:00pm Syracuse City Ballet - Hosmer Auditorium

Through performance of classical and premiere works, Syracuse City Ballet gives area dancers the opportunity to develop their skills by performing in a regional ballet company. Enjoy a compilation of performances by members of their company.

1:30-3:30 pm The Ballet and Dance Center - Hosmer Auditorium

The Ballet and Dance Center offers lessons in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Zumba, and Pilates in a state of the art dance facility featuring Harlequin brand sprung dance floors, studio quality sound systems, and a fantastic location on Erie Blvd. East. Come see what they are all about!

2:00-3:00pm GEM DUO - Sculpture Court

Enjoy flute, cello, and piano music as you view displays and shop our Holiday Marketplace.

4:00-5:00pm Guzman's Dance Studio - Hosmer Auditorium

Guzman Dance Studio has been committed to offering quality dance classes to Fayetteville, Manlius, Syracuse and the surrounding areas since 1999. Get into the spirit of the season with performances by their talented students.

11:00am-3:00pm Santa in Residence - The Beadel Gallery

Come and snap fun family photos with Santa in our Santa's workshop themed photo booth in our quaint Beadel gallery. Come by even when Santa isn't there to enjoy the photo booth on your own!

Festival Fees:

Kids free Except for Saturday Winter Wonderland activities ($5)

Non-Members: $10 for adults, household max of $25

Member or Student: $5
