Diabetes Refresher Education Class

This half-day class is a refresher for anyone with diabetes who has already attended a diabetes education course.

Our certified diabetes nurse educators will give you a general overview of how to manage your diabetes.

Topics covered will include:

-How diabetes affects the body
-Carbohydrate counting
-Diabetes medications
-Blood glucose monitoring
-High blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia)
-Low blood glucose levels (hypoglycemia) and exercise
-Long-term complications
