The emotional stress of COVID-19 lingers on, even after physical recovery. Garnet Health’s Community Health team is introducing a free online support group for those who are recovering, or have recovered, from coronavirus.
This compassionate, comfortable environment will help participants advance on their journey to restored emotional strength by providing coping skills for managing grief, loss, stress and anxiety. It also will celebrate the important mile markers that define progress, and connect you with others who face the same unique challenges. In addition, providers affiliated with Garnet Health Doctors will periodically provide clinical advice to participants.
For questions and online links to meetings please contact Moira Mencher, MBA, Manager of Physician Relations & Community Health, at mmencher@garnethealth.org or (845) 333-2632.
This group is meeting virtually the Third Tuesday of every month, beginning December 15, from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
